What was the highlight of Hotel Baia Del Porto Porto Ottiolu
Great 4 star hotel for the price
Overall the location is great. Even though it was not beachfront as they say. (It's about a 10min walk). The Ottiolu beach is amazing with very clear water and even though the beach was not private, they had sunbeds just for the guests, for free from the second row back, which given the normal 70-80€ price for a sunbed at other beaches turned out to be great. Its location makes it also very close to other amazing beaches nearby, such as La Cinta, Brandinchi, the Costa Baunei, and the beaches near Porto Cervo. It's also very close to towns like San Teodoro, Budoni, Ottiolu Port, and Porto Cervo. The meals were all very nice, the food was always great and had a lot of variety. The entertainment team was also great, from the beach activities to the night activities. Special shoutout to Mario (Brian). The price of the stay was considerably lower than other resorts in the area.
The "village" vibe of the resort was great, but since our room was really far from the boiler, our water took a lot of time to heat. They told us to wait 15/20min and of course, we weren't going to waste 20min of running water just to wait for it to get hot. Also, the fact that it is not really beachfront.

Pleasant
Staff was very kind and nice. We liked the main and common area’s ambiance, nicely decorated. The garden is also beautiful. We also liked the breakfast, we only had dinner once which was ok. We liked the pool and the beach too.
We stayed in a superior room which had no mini bar or at least water. We missed to have glasses to be able to drink as the room was 200 meters from the bar, this is not ideal if you are thirsty… the phone to call the room service was broken during our 3nights stay… The room decoration was very poor, no bed side lights just 1lamp in the middle of the wall which did not lighten up the room. No furniture to put the luggage but the floor. Also the I’m disappointed the we had to walk again to the reception as the airconditioner was out of orderas well. They nicely took note and fixed it the same day. The bed is uncomfortable. You can only drink at the tables by the pool and not at your sunbed.
